Beauty

Society has placed a certain perception of what beauty really is.  We think it takes so much to be beautiful.  We compare ourselves to what we think is beauty and it hurts so many people.  But to me, it is in everything.  I added some pictures below to help you think about what beauty really is. Look at the picture very closely and really find the true beauty in it. 

Belief

Do not believe in anything simply because you have heard it. Do not believe in anything simply because it is spoken and rumored by many. Do not believe in anything simply because it is found written in your religious books. Do not believe in anything merely on the authority of your teachers and elders. Do not believe in traditions because they have been handed down for many generations. But after observation and analysis, when you find that anything agrees with reason and is conducive to the good and benefit of one and all, then accept it and live up to it.

Transcendental Meditation

For those of you who do not know what Transcendental Meditation is, it's a type of mantra meditation. The TM technique is a simple, effortless way to dive within, to experience an ocean of pure consciousness, pure creativity, pure knowingness. It’s a unique experience but also very familiar—it is your own Self.


I recently started this meditation and I've been really feeling some cool effects from it.  I've been attempting to reach this ocean of pure consciousness, where I'm hoping to experience enlightenment.  Within this field of pure knowingness, I can find more enjoyment in life.


David Lynch is an expert on Transcendental Meditation. So if you're interested in trying it, check out the video below where he speaks all about it and explains it way better then I can.
