Ponder it

Paying for sex is like making your cat dance on its' back legs - you know it's wrong, but you like to pretend they're enjoying it as well.

Food Not Bombs

"A nation that continues year after year to spend more money on military defense
than on programs of social uplift is approaching spiritual death."
Martin Luther King, Jr.

Food Not Bombs shares free vegan and vegetarian meals with the hungry
in over 1,000 cities around the world to protest war, poverty and the destruction of the environment.

With over a billion people going hungry each day how can we spend another dollar on war?

Americans discard over 40 percent of the food that is produced. 1,400 calories worth of food is discarded per person each day, which adds up to 150 trillion calories a year. The United Nations reported in 2010 that all one billion people that go hungry could be fed by the food that is wasted every day.

For more information on feeding the homeless check out their website here - http://www.foodnotbombs.net/

Pain

"People are afraid of themselves, of their own reality; their feelings most of all. People talk about how great love is, but that’s bullshit. Love hurts. Feelings are disturbing. People are taught that pain is evil and dangerous. How can they deal with love if they’re afraid to feel? Pain is meant to wake us up. People try to hide their pain. But they’re wrong. Pain is something to carry, like a radio. You feel your strength in the experience of pain. It’s all in how you carry it. That’s what matters. Pain is a feeling. Your feelings are a part of you. Your own reality. If you feel ashamed of them, and hide them, you’re letting society destroy your reality. You should stand up for your right to feel your pain."

President? Donald Trump

Donald Trump, one of the greatest businessmen in the world, says by June 2011 he will decide whether he will run for president or not.  Below I posted a video of him speaking on CPAC about what he would do as president and the reasons why he would become president.

In my opinion, I feel Trump would make a very successful president and he knows exactly how to get us out of this mess because as a businessman.  He has had to deal with hundreds of situations and battles where his knowledge of money and spending have come into play, and he has won.  He also recognizes that America isn't respected by other countries anymore and that he would gain back out respect.

Check out the video below to see what Trump has to say on his possible run for presidency and tell me what you think on my Facebook.  If you don't think Trump would make a good President, why?

NEW PROJECT

Hola, so with the final touches on a script for my new film, I thought I may update you guys and let ya know what's up.

My blog is for my film project stuff, but also random things I find interesting.

But anyways, this new project is the biggest film I've worked on.  I'm very excited for when it's finished and I can share it with all you.  I'm going to start posting more videos on my blog to update you on random crap and the film as well.

So in the mean time, I'm trying to gain a wider audience, so with the release of the film, more people will know about it! So it would be greatly appreciated if you shared my blog on Facebook or Twitter (can do so  with the button on the right hand side) or bookmark it, and keep checking back for behind the scene video and more!

Thanks!

Memoirs of a Scanner

Memoirs of a Scanner by Mindfruit Films was shot with just an office image-scanner. It's only a minute long and composed entirely of still shots, but it has a coherent plot. Directed by Damon Stea.

Free Donuts!

Well, there is a way to get free donuts, but only if you're not grossed out easily.  Krispy Kreme always has tons of donuts left over at the end of the day.  They don't sell them after a day, so they put all the donuts into a bag, tie it up, and throw it into the dumpster outback.  Once they close, go back there and take the bag out of the dumpster and enjoy the free donuts! Yes, may seem a little gross but the donuts are in a bag by themselves.  They aren't mixed in with the trash, so it's safe and they are clean. Enjoy!

15 Most Disturbing Films

Antichrist
In Hollywood, it’s not hard to find a borderline snuff film that turns the stomach and loosens the sphincter.  Some of the most disturbing movies ever made fall into that category.  But there is another type of disturbing movie that may not shed even a drop of blood, yet shakes the audience to their cores by revealing uncomfortable truths, secret perversions, or a gleeful, careless violence in humanity as a whole.  This latter category of movie may not even consist of “good”, “classic” or “cult” movies, but they nonetheless will leave you squirming awake at night.

Requiem for a Dream
1. Persona
2. Human Centipede
3. A Clockwork Orange
4. Saw
5. Gomorrah
6. Hostel

    Lucid Dreaming

I've been doing some studies on Lucid Dreaming and techniques to achieving it. A lucid dream is a dream in which you know you are dreaming. Typically this happens when the dreamer experiences something strange, and when they stop to question their reality, they realize they are in a dream.

There are many reasons to try Lucid Dreaming. Check out this website to learn more about it. I will be posting any experiences I have with it as I practice it.

    Double Dip Recession

The crisis unfolds in four quick steps:

FIRST, since a sovereign debt default would inevitably cause ALL bonds to crash, investors stampede for the bond market exits, dumping as much as they can as fast as they can.

SECOND, as the bond market reels, interest rates skyrocket and credit tightens. The rates on 30-year fixed-rate mortgages, auto loans and other long-term debts soar. Rates tied to short-term money markets -- on credit cards and variable mortgages -- follow.

THIRD, consumers -- whose spending represents fully 70% of the economy -- snap their pocketbooks shut.

FOURTH, corporate earnings and stock prices crater. As the economy hits the skids, unemployment soars.
Clearly, these events would be the coup de grĂ¢ce to an economic recovery as fragile as this one is. And they would almost surely transform a Great Recession into a Great DOUBLE-DIP Recession, if not worse, plunging us into the second bear market in three years, lighting the fuse on a second explosion in unemployment, and triggering a second surge in personal and corporate bankruptcies.

The current cyclical analysis is confirming that a major new decline in the economy is coming later this year.

    * U.S. stocks will decline starting this year and continue falling in a zigzag pattern through 2012.
    * The U.S. dollar index may continue to firm somewhat as the European debt crisis drives investors into dollar-denominated investments. But then the greenback will collapse until late 2011 as the U.S. sovereign debt crisis runs its course.
    * Serving in its capacity as a global crisis hedge, gold will skyrocket FAR higher than $2,000 per ounce by the end of 2011.
    * Crippled by soaring interest rates due to the U.S. debt crisis, our economy will suffer a devastating double-dip recession in 2011.

    Fred Phelps

So there's a lot of controversy over the whole Westboro Baptist Church and the 1st amendment.  Because of all the hateful things they do while protesting against gays.  I do agree they have a sense of freedom to be able to protest because of free of speech.  There isn't really much we can do to stop them.  We just have to not ignore them and the fact that what they say isn't true.

If you don't know what they are about, then check out the video below. It pretty much sums up what they are about. It's sick what they believe and how they behave.
